RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY
APPROVING NATIONAL CITY FIRE DRPARTMENT UNIFORM SHOULDER
PATCH DESIGN
WHEREAS, the National City Firefighters' uniform has been worn
with the same shoulder patch design since 1981, and
WHEREAS, the supply of shoulder patches is depleted and new
patches must be ordered, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the authority vested in the Fire Chief under
Section 5 of Ordinance 649, he has approved a new uniform shoulder patch
design to be worn by the National City Firefighters;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
National City that it hereby approves the newly designed uniform shoulder
patch to be worn by the National City Firefighters, a copy of which is
attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 5th day of May, 1987.
