HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 15,291RESOLUTION ND. 15,291 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY AMENDING RESOLUTION NJ. 15,123, DESIGNATING RESIDENTIAL PERMIT PARKING AREA "F" ON "A" AVENUE BETWEEN 9TH STREET AND PLAZA BOULEVARD BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of National City that Resolution No. 15,123, Designating Residential Permit Parking Area "F" on "A" Avenue between 9th Street and Plaza Boulevard, attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by reference, be amended to add the following restriction to read as follows: "That no more than two parking permits shall be issued to each residence." Eiser, III -City Attorney George H.Waters, Mayo_ RESOLUTION O. 15,123 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY DESIGNATING RESIDENTIAL PERMIT PARKING AREA "F" ON "A" AVENUE BETWEEN 9TH STREET AND PLAZA BOULEVARD WHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore established a Preferential Parking Program by Resolution No. 14,356; and WHEREAS, the Council by Resolution No. 14,357 adopted a Policy for regulating said Program; and WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 14,401, the City Council designated Residential Permit Parking Area A; and WHEREAS, there exists an urgent need for Preferential Parking in an additional location in the City. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that the aforesaid urgeny requires waiver of the customary public hearing procedures set forth in Sections 4 and 5 of the Policy, but that all other Sections of the Policy shall apply. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council that the boundaries of Preferential Permit Parking Area "F" be established as per the attached plat, attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by reference. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that parking be prohibited for all vehicles between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. from Monday through Friday and all day Saturday, except for those vehicles displaying either an Area "F" preferential parking permit or a handicapped license plate or placard. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is authorized and directed to issue, upon written application therefore, a parking permit, as per Section 6 of aforesaid Preferential Permit Parking Program Policy. BE IT FURTHER .RESOLVED that the City Manager is authorized and directed to post appropriate signs indicating the Preferential Permit Parking Area. PASSED and ADOPTED this Ilth day of November, 1986.
