HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 15,124RESOLUTION NO. 15,124 RESOLUTION APPROVING AND REVISING FISCAL YEAR 1986-87 EMPLOYEE COMPENSATION PLANS WHEREAS, the City Manager has presented the City Council with certain recommendations regarding Executive, Mid -Management and Confidential employees' compensation; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reconsidered the effective date under Resolution No. 15,090 of changes in salaries, benefits and working conditions for employees represented by the National City Municipal Employee's Association; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the recommended compensation plans, together with required modifications, should be implemented; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows: SECTION 1. The compensation plans for Executive and Mid -Management personnel, as recommended, are hereby approved effective July 1, 1986. The salaries for the City Manager and City Attorney shall be increased by 8%, for a total increase in compensation of 8.6%. The salary of the City Clerk shall be increased by 5%, for a total increase in con1Jensation of 5.9%. SECTION 2. The effective date of the changes in salaries, benefits and working conditions for employees in the bargaining unit represented by the National City Municipal Employees' Association approved in Council Resolution No. 15,090, shall be July 1, 1986, rather than September 23, 1986. SECTION 3. Confidential Employees shall receive the same increases in salary and benefits for the 1986-87 Fiscal Year as those approved for the employees in the bargaining unit represented by the National City Municipal Employees' Association effective July 1, 1986. SECTION 4. The City Manager is hereby directed to reflect said compensation plans in the final budget for Fiscal Year 1986-87. A copy of said Compensation Plans shall be on file in the Office of the City Clerk and reference is made thereto for all particulars contained therein.
