RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY DETERMINING
THAT THE PUBLIC INTEREST AND NECESSITY DEMAND THE ACQUISITION,
CONSTRUCTION, AND COMPLETION OF CERTAIN PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS
The City Council of the City of National City does hereby resolve,
determine and order as follows:
1. The public interest and necessity demand the acquisition,
construction and completion of the following municipal improvement, to wit:
A new police facility, including acquisition of land for a new
police facility, construction of off-street parking facilities,
construction of buildings, offices, and landscaping, construction of
street improvements; acquisition and improvements of easements and
rights of way, and other works, property and structures necessary or
convenient for police facility improvements for the City of National
City. The estimated cost of said municipal improvement is the sum
of $6,500,000 which includes any or all of the following; (a) legal
or other fees incidental to or connected with the authorization,
issuance and sale of bonds, and (b) the costs of printing the bonds
and other costs and expenses incidental to or connected with the
issuance and sale of the bonds.
2. The acquisition and improvement mentioned in Section 1 of this
Resolution are necessary and convenient to carry out the objects, purposes and
powers of the City of National City.
3. The indebtedness for the municipal improvement will require an
expenditure greater than the amount allowed for it by the annual tax levy of
the city.
