HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 14,969RESOLUTION NO. 14,969 RESOLUTION OVERRRULING PROTESTS AND AMENDING THE WORK TO BE DONE IN ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 225 (ALLEY - 18TH Sn ri TO 22ND STREET WEST OF WILSON AVENUE) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of National City, California, did on the 22nd day of April, 1986, pass and adopt its Resolution No. 14,927 of Intention to Amend the Work to be Done in Assessment District No. 225, ALLEY - 18th Street to 22nd Street, West of Wilson Avenue; and WHEREAS, said Resolution fixed the 27th day of May, 1986, at the hour of 7:00 p.m., as the day and hour, and the meeting place of the City Council of the City of National City as the place, when and where any and all persons having any objections to the aforesaid proposal might appear before said City Council and show cause why said proposed changes should not be adopted; and WHEREAS, said Resolution of Intention to Amend the Work to be Done has been published in the time and manner provided by law; and WHEREAS, the hour of 7:00 p.m. of the 27th day of May, 1986, having arrived, the matter having been duly considered by the City Council of the City of National City, and all written objections to said amendments having been heard and found to be insufficient. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of National City, California, that the Resolution of Intention and all proceedings for said work and improvements to be done in Assessment District No. 225, City of National City, County of San Diego, State of California, are hereby amended as follows: The estimated cost of said work, including incidental expenses is the sum of $99,157.00. The City has budgeted the sum of $41,991.00 as a contribution toward said cost. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all objections to said amendments are found to be insufficient and are hereby overruled. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the amendments in the work to be done in said Assessment District No. 225 of the City of National City shall be done pursuant to the authority granted in the provisions of Chapter 1, Division 2, Part 3, of the Public Contracts Code of the State of California. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the work to be done, as described in Resolution of Intention No. 14,867, shall be amended as follows: The estimated cost of said work, including incidental expenses, is the sum of $99,157.00.
