Ei er, III - City Attorney RESOLUTION NO. 15,001 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER To EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY AND THE HARTSON AMBULANCE SERVICE TO CONSTRUCT ONE TRASH ENCLOSURE AT 2130 TIDELANDS AVENUE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of National City, California, that the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an Agreement between the City of National City and the Hartson Ambulance Service to construct one trash enclosure at 2130 Tidelands Avenue. PASSED and ADOPTED this 1st day of July, ‘6r1. , Kile Mbrgan City of National City Office of the City Engineer 1243 National City Boulevard, National City, California 92050-4397 (619) 336-4380 June 9, 1986 AGREEMENT TO CONSTRUCT ONE TRASH ENCLOSURE AT 2130 TIDELANDS AVENUE (THE OLD FIRE STATION) This agreement, entered into on July 1 National City and Hartson Ambulance Service. RECITAL , 1986 is between the City of 1. Construction of a trash enclosure at 2130 Tidelands Avenue. 2. Both parties will benefit from this project. 3. The scope of the work is shown in Exhibit "A", attached and made apart of this agreement. The estimate of cost is shown in Exhibit "B", attached and made a part of this agreement. 4. The City of National City and the Hartson Ambulance Service mutually desire to cooperate and participate in the construction of the aforesaid project and specify herein the terms and conditions under which said project shall be constructed and financed. SECTION I The City of National City agrees to: 1. Provide plans and specifications for --the construction of a trash enclosure, and to pay the all expenses thereof. 2. Advertise, award, and administer this project, including construction engineering, and to pay the entire expense thereof. 3. Construct this project by contract and to pay the entire expense thereof. SECTION 2 The Hartson's Ambulance Service agrees to: 1. Deposite with the City of National City, upon execution of this agreement by both parties the amount $800.00 representing Hartson Ambulance Service's total share of project expenses. Said project includes preparation of Plans and Specifications, advertising for bids, awarding and administration of the contract, and the completion of the work shown on Exhibit "A". 2. Provide access to the project site. SECTION 3 1. Any change orders for modifications to the scope of the work shall be authorized by the City of National City without the concurrence of the Hartson' Ambulance Service unless said change order or modification materially affects the respective obligations of the parties. 2. This agreement can be modified, altered or revised only with the written consent of both parties. 3. This Agreement shall terminate upon completion and acceptance of project by both parties.
