RESOLUTION NAMING AND DEDICATING DELTA STREET
(431 N. Highland - Azar)
WHEREAS, the City of National City accepts the Quitclaim Deed for
that certain parcel of land required for street purposes in the City of National
City, County of San Diego, State of California, more particularly described in
Exhibit "A" attached hereto, and
WHEREAS, the City of National City desires that said property be
dedicated for public street purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the described parcel of
land in Exhibit "A" shall henceforth be known as a portion of Delta Street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby authorized
and directed to cause a certified copy of this Resolution to be recorded in the
office of the County Recorder of San Diego County.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 19th day of February, 1985.

The Southerly 91.0 feet of the Northerly 111.00 feet of that portion
of Lot 69 of a portion of the Ex -Mission lands of San Diego (commonly
known as Horton's Purchase) in the City of National City, County of
San Diego, State of California, according to the Map thereof No. 283,
filed in the Office of the County Recorder of said San Diego County,
March 9, 1878, described as follows:
Commencing at a point 165.00 feet North of the Southeast corner of Lot
67 of Ex -Mission Lands of San Diego; thence West parallel with the South
line of said Lot 67, a distance of 569.25 feet; thence South at right
angles 382.80 feet to the Southeast corner of a parcel of land described
in deed to J. J. Hughes, dated September 12, 1883 in Book 44, page 478
of Deeds; said point being the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence Westerly
along the South line of said Hughes's land and along the South line of
land described in deed to Thomas Chase, dated June 15, 1885 in Book 54,
page 60 of Deeds, and the Westerly prolongation thereof, to an intersec-
tion with the Westerly line of said Lot 69; thence Southerly along said
Westerly line of said Lot 69, a distance of 320.0 feet, more or less,
to the Northwest corner of a parcel of land described in deed to George
H. Knowlton, dated January 3, 1883 in Book 43, page 219 of Deeds; thence
East along the North line of said Knowlton's land, 782.92 feet to the
Northeast corner thereof; thence running Northerly in a straight line
to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Easterly 594.0 feet thereof.
ALSO EXCEPTING THEREFROM, that portion lying Westerly of the Easterly
line of Highland Avenue, as established December 16, 1953.
EXHIBIT "A"
