HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 14,665RESOLUTION NO. 14,665 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING CONVEYANCE OF A QUITCLAIM DEED FOR STREET PURPOSES AND NAMING AND DEDICATING STREET (A PORTION OF 9TH STREET) (VEGA) BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of National City, California, as follows: 1. Pursuant to Resolution No. 7083, the City Clerk is hereby ordered to execute a Certificate of Acceptance and to record the following instrument conveying an interest in real estate to the City of National City: QUITCLAIM DEED for street purposes from GUSTAVO VEGA and BELINDA MARIE VEGA, husband and wife as joint tenants dated June 3, 1985. 2. That the City of National City desires that said property be dedicated for public street purposes; 3. That the described parcel of land in Exhibit "A" shall henceforth be known as a portion of 9th Street. Eiser, III - City Attorney EXHIBIT "A" The most northerly 10' thereof for street purposes, of all that portion of 80 Acres Lot 1 in Quarter Section 129 of RANCHO DE LA NACION, according to the Map thereof No. 166 made by GEO. S. MORRILL in 1868, filed in the Office of the County Recorder of said San Diego County, May 11, 1869, described as follows: Commencing at the Northwesterly corner of said Quarter Section 129 marked by a copper tack set in lead; thence North 71 ° 38' East along the Northerly line of said Quarter Section 129 and being the center line of Eighth Street, a distance of 663.7 feet; thence South 18 ° 14' East 739.48 feet; thence North 71 ° 34' East 217.97 feet to the true point of beginning; thence from said true point of beginning, North 18 ° 22' West 300 feet; thence North 71 ° 34' East 90 feet; thence South 18 ° 22' East 300 feet; thence South 71 ° 34' West 90 feet to the point of beginning.
