The San Diego Chapter of the International Conference of Building Officials (ICBO) sub -committee has prepared a Building Valuation Multiplier for the year 1985/86. This sub -committee is structured of members of the various Building Departments in the County. The Table is prepared utilizing data contained in the Building Standards Publication and data from the various jurisdiction in San Diego County. This process is followed each year to assure construction cost valuations' remain basically the same in all jurisdictions with the County. In reviewing the proposed Building Valuation Multiplier for 1985/86, it is found the average projected values indicate an 8% increase for all occu- pancies and construction types. In order to be consistent with the other jurisdictions in San Diego County, it is recommended the attached Building Valuation Multipliers for 1985/86 be approved and become effective July 1, 1985.
