HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 14,729RESOLUTION NO. 14,729 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATIONS LIMIT FOR FISCAL YEAR 1985-86 AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 14,655 WHEREAS, the voters of California on November 6, 1979 added Article XIII-B to the State Constitution placing various limitations on the appropriations of the State and local governments; and WHEREAS, Article XIII-B provides that the appropriations limit for fiscal year 1985-86 is calculated by adjusting the appropriations limit for the prior fiscal year for changes in the cost of living and population; and WHEREAS, the calculations for making these adjustments for the City of National City are shown in Exhibits "A" and "B"; and WHEREAS, the City of National City has complied with all the provisions of Article XIII-B in determining the appropriations limit for fiscal year 1985-86. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of National City that the appropriations limit for fiscal year 1985-86 shall be $14,266,144. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution No. 14,655 is hereby rescinded. PASSED and ADOPTED this 3rd day of September, 1985.
