HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 14,756RESOLUTION NO. 14,756 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY AUTHORIZING DONATION OF PORTABLE FENCE TO SWEETWATER HIGH SCHOOL WHEREAS, the National City Parks and Recreation Department recently replaced the portable fence for the baseball field at El Toyon Park, because the old fence is in need of repair and will not be used by the City; and WHEREAS, the Varsity Baseball Coach of Sweetwater High School has requested that the City of National City donate the old fence to Sweetwater High School, which intends to repair the fence and use it as an outfield fence for the high school baseball field. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of National City that the old portable fence from the baseball field at El Toyon Park is donated to Sweetwater High School, provided that the high school shall be responsible to pick up, repair and install the fence. PASSED and ADOPTED this 1st day of October, 1985. The old fence, now repair, lies chained together behind the restroom the baseball in need of at the park. I am requesting that the City of National City donate this fencing to Sweetwater High School.
