HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 14,816RESOLUTION NO. 14.816 PRELIMINARY DETERMINATION OF LEGISLATIVE BODY UNDER "SPECIAL ASSESSMENT INVESTIGATION, LIMITATION AND MAJORITY PROTEST ACT OF 1931 (ALLEY - 18TH TO 22ND STREET. WEST OF WILSON AVENUE) The City Council of the City of National City does hereby resolve as follows: That certain improvements are proposed to be done and made within the boundaries of the proposed assessment district hereinafter described in the City of National City. California. In connection therewith said City Council hereby finds and determines as follows: (1) The nature of the proposed improvements consists of grading. paving with Portland Cement Concrete and appurtenances thereto. (2) The location and extent of the proposed improvements will involve the construction of the described improvements upon the following described public streets and public ways within the boundaries of the proposed assessment district hereinafter described, to wit: ALLEY - 18th to 22nd Street West of Wilson Avenue within the limits of Assessment District No. 225 in the City of National City. (3) The boundaries of the district of lands proposed to be specially assessed to pay the costs and expenses of said proposed work and improvement are as shown upon a map on file in the Office of the City Clerk of the City of National City, which said map indicates by a boundary line the territory to be included in the proposed assessment district, and which said map governs for all details as to the extent of the district; said map is designated "MAP OF ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 225 FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF ALLEY - 18TH TO 22ND STREET WEST OF WILSON AVENUE". (4) The City has budgeted the sum of $35,326 as a contribution toward the cost of said work. The entire remaining cost of proposed improvements shall be assessed against the benefited property. (6) The proposed work to be done is described upon the plans and specifications which are on file with the City Clerk of the City of National City, and said plans and specifications are hereby referred to for all particulars relative thereto and are open to inspection by anyone interested.
