HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 14,408RESOLUTION 14,408 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING CERTAIN OF ITS MEMBERS TO FILE A WRITTEN ARGUMENT REGARDING A CITY MEASURE WHEREAS, a special municipal election is to be held in the City of National City, California, on November 6, 1984, at which there will be submitted to the qualified electors of said City the following measure: (Vote for one only. More than one vote will void this section of the ballot.) SHOULD THE CITY'S FIRST PRIORITY FOR 4 MILLION DOLLARS OF DEVELOPMENT AND HOUSING FUNDS BE COMPLETION OF: Downtown Redevelopment, Neighborhood Rehabilitation, Low Interest Loans and Related ,Public Improvements? OR Construction of an additional 150 Units of Seniors Housing? NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, DECLARED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED as follows: SECTION 1. That this City Council, being the legislative body of the City of National City, hereby authorizes any member to file written arguments for or against the City measure set forth in the recitals hereof in accordance with Article 4, Chapter 3, Division 5 of the Elections Code of the State of California, and to change said argument until and including the date fixed by the City Clerk after which no argument for or against said City measure may be submitted to the City Clerk. r PASSED and ADOPTED this 8th day of August, 1984.
