RESOLUTION NO. 14,505
RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE
NATIONAL CITY COMBINED GENERAL PLAN/ZONING MAP
(Applicants: Posadas, Reiner and Malcolm)
The City Council of the City of National City, California, does hereby
find determine, order, and resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, at a regular meeting of the Planning Commission of the
City of National City, California, held on November 19, 1984, said commission
adopted Resolution No. 56-84, recommending approval of an amendment of the
National City Combined General Plan/Zoning Map; and
WHEREAS, evidence and testimony presented to the City Council at
the meeting of December 11, 1984, support the amendment to the National City
Combined General Plan/Zoning Map.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council hereby
amends the National City Combined General Plan/Zoning Map as follows:
Change the land use classification from OS (Open Space) to IP-
PD (Private Institutional -Planned Development Overlay) on 2.77
acres of property located north of Division Street, east of Palm
Avenue and west of Interstate 805. (Applicant: Roberto Posadas,
Case File No. GP-5-84 and ZC-5-84)
ATTEST:
Change the land use classification from CG-PD (General
Commercial -Planned Development Overlay) to RS-2-PUD
(Residential Single Family -Small Lot, Planned Unit Development
Overlay) on property located on the north side of Sweetwater
Road, approximately 175 feet east of Calmoor Street to the
easterly City boundary. (Applicant: E.W. Reiner, M.D., Case File
No. GP-6-84 and ZC-7-84)
Change the land use classification from OS (Open Space) to CG-
PD (General Commercial -Planned Development Overlay) on
property located at the northeast corner of Sweetwater Road and
Euclid Avenue. (Applicant: David L. Malcolm, Case File No. GP-
8-84 and ZC-9-84)
Add one new residential and use category, as follows:
RS-E (Residential, Single -Family Estate) permits one single family
dwelling per lot, with a minimum lot size of one acre.
Establish a General Plan/Prezone (GP-ZC) category of RS-E
(Residential, Single Family Estate, 1 acre minimum lot size) on
approximately 19 acres located on the south side of Valley Road,
north of Lomacitas Lane; and RM-1-PUD (Residential, Multi -
Family Extendable Planned Unit Development Overlay) on
approximately 11 acres located on the south side of State
Highway 54, north of Valley Road and Avenida San Miguel.
