RESOLUTION GRANTING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT
TO ALLOW THE OPERATION OF A MOBILE VETERINARY
SHOT CLINIC (VACCINATIONS ONLY) AS A SEPARATE
BUSINESS, WITHIN THE PARKING LOT ADJACENT TO
1001 EAST PLAZA BOULEVARD, NATIONAL CITY
(CUP- 1983 - Jay W. Shrock, D.V.M.)
The City Council of the City of National City does
hereby find, determine, order and resolve as follows:
1. At a regular meeting of the City Planning Com-
mission on April 18, 1983, said Commission unanimously
adopted a recommendation that the owner of a Mobile Veterin-
ary Shot Clinic at 1003 East Plaza Boulevard, be granted a
Conditional Use Permit upon the conditions hereinafter stated.
2. That the City Council has received the recom-
mendation of the Planning Commission, and after full and
complete consideration of said recommendation hereby grants
Conditional Use Permit No. CUP-1983-3 for the operation of
a mobile veterinary shot clinic adjacent to 1001 East Plaza
Boulevard, subject to the following terms and conditions:
a. This use shall be limited to the first
Saturday of each month between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and
3:00 p.m..
b. The service provided shall be limited to
providing vaccinations only; and, further limited to only
those kinds of small domesticated animals or household pets
commonly maintained in residence with man.
c. The operator of the clinic shall be res-
ponsible for the clean-up and disposal of all litter and
waste generated during the hours the clinic is in operation.
d. Compressed gases (if any) shall be used in
accordance with Uniform Fire Code, Article 74.
e. The vehicle used shall not be parked or
allowed to stand within any driven way within the parking lot.
All driven aisles within the parking lot shall be kept clear
during all hours of operation.
f. The vehicle used shall be provided
with at least one type 2A; 10 BC fire extinguisher.
g. Adequate on -site supervision shall be
provided during all hours the clinic is in operation.
h. This Conditional Use Permit shall be
reviewed annually by the City Planning Commission, for com-
pliance with conditions imposed upon its approval; and, shall
be subject to the provisions of Section 18.116.170 Revocation,
of the National City Municipal Code.
i. This Conditional Use Permit shall
expire on each anniversary thereof unless renewed by the
National City City Council, as conditioned from time
to time.
