RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NATIONAL CITY, CALIFORNIA
ACCEPTING DEFERRAL OF STREET IMPROVEMENTS
AND A COVENANT RUNNING WITH THE LAND
(148 E. 31st St., Hansen)
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
/"^ of National City, California, that a Deferral of Street
Improvement and a Covenant granted to the City of National
City by WILLIAM C. HANSEN affecting property at 148 E. 31st
Street, National City, California, are hereby accepted and
the City Clerk is directed to record the same.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of September, 1983.

COVENANT RUNNING WITH THE LAND
This COVENANT i.s made by EVELYN D. HANSEN AND WILLIAM C. HANSEN hereinafter
referred to as "OWNER". WHEREAS OWNER is the owner of the that certain real property located
in the City of National City, County of San Diego, State of California, described as follows:
THE EASTERLY 92 FEET OF LOTS 11 TO 20 INCLUSIVE, IN BLOCK 2 OF COPELAND'S
SUBDIVISION OF THE WEST HALF OF 10 ACRE LOT 8, AND THE EAST HALF OF 10 ACRE
LOT 7, IN QUARTER SECTION 152 OF RANCHO DE LA NACION, COUNTY OF SAN DIEGO,
STATE OF CALIFORNIA, ACCORDING TO MAP THEREOF NO. 978 FILED TOGETHER WITH THE
WESTERLY 40 FEET OF AVENUE "B" ADJOINING SAID ABOVE DESCRIBED PROPERTY ON THE
EAST AS VACATED AND ABANDONED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF SAID COUNTY OF
SAN DIEGO, RECORDED JANUARY 15, 1921, IN BOOK 751, PAGE 166 OF DEEDS: AND THE
NORTHERLY 40 FEET OF 32ND STREET ADJOINING ALL OF THE ABOVE DESCRIBED PROPERTY
ON THE SOUTH AS VACATED AND ABANDONED BY ORDER OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
OF SAN DIEGO COUNTY.
WHEREAS, said owner desires to be excused from the legal requirements to install the
following improvements:
AT: 148 E. 31st St.
1. INSTALL 67 LINEAL FEET OF PORTLAND CEMENT CONCRETE TYPE "G" CURB.
2. INSTALL 67 LINEAL FEET OF PORTLAND CEMENT CONCRETE SIDEWALK AND DRIVEWAY.
3. INSTALL 1340 SQUARE FEET OF BASE (8") AND ASPHALT CONCRETE PAVING.
4. 1340 SQUARE FEET OF SEAL AND SAND OVER ASPHALT PAVING.
5. EXCAVATION AND GRADING ASSOCIATED WITH THE ABOVE.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration for the granting of a deferral to install said improve-
ments by the City Council of the Cfty of National City,
THEMSELVES
said owner covenants for
and THEIR heirs, successors, assigns, executors and
administrators as follows:
1. The owner will not protest the installation of any of the required improvements under
1911 Improvement Act program whether initiated by the property owners or the City.
2. The owner will install said improvements in conjunction with an overall improvement
program of the area whether initiated by the property owners or the City.
3. The owner will install the required improvements within 30 (Thirty) days of a written
demand to do so by the City Engineer.
