HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 13,947RESOLUTION NO. 13,947 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY APPROVING THE REPORT OF THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION FOR THE PERIOD JULY 1, 1981 THROUGH JUNE 30, 1982 AND AUTHORIZING THE FILING THEREOF WHEREAS, Section 33080 of the California Community Redevelopment Law requires a Report of the Redevelopment Agency to the City Council to include audits, work program, achievements in relation to goals and legislative recommendations; and WHEREAS, the Community Development Commission of the City of National City, a Redevelopment Agency and a Housing Authority, has prepared such Report and the City Council has read and considered said Report; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of National City that the Report of the Community Development Commission for the period July 1, 1981 through June 30, 1982 is hereby approved and the Executive Director of the Community Development Commission is authorized and directed to file said Report. Copies of said Report are on file in the office of the City Clerk and in the office of the Secretary of the Community Development Commission and reference is hereby made to all particulars contained therein. Kile Morgan, ATTEST: Ion- ampbell, City ► erk COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY, CALIFORNIA REPORT TO CITY COUNCIL FOR THE PERIOD JULY 1, 1981 THROUGH JUNE 30, 1982 The Community Development Commission of the City of National City, California, is a redevelopment agency and a housing authority operating pursuant to the laws of the State of California, the City of National City, and the applicable laws and regulations of the U. S. Government. - This report is prepared pursuant to Section 33080 of the California Community Redevelopment Law which requires every redevelopment agency to present a report to the legislative body of the community. The report must contain the following: (a) An independent financial audit report for the previous fiscal year (b) A work program for the coming year, including goals. (c) An examination of the previous year's achievements and a comparison with goals for that year. (d) Recommendation to the State for needed legislation. The City Council is to review the report and take any action which it deems appropriate. This report consists of the following: I. Work Program and Goals II. Comparison of prior year goals with achievements III. The Budget of the Community Development Commission for the period 7/1/82 to 6/30/83 IV. The following Audit Reports: (1) E. J. Christman Redevelopment Project Tax Allocation Fund as of 6/30/82. (2) South Bay Town & Country Redevelopment Project Tax Allocation Fund as of 6/30/82. (3) Center City Redevelopment Project Tax Allocation Fund as of 6/30/82. (4) Community Development Commission Audit for Federal Contract SF-539 ending 6/30/82. Section 8 Housing Assistance.
