RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NATIONAL CITY, CALIFORNIA AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT
TO THE COOPERATION AGREEMENT -PLAZA BONITA CENTER/
SWEETWATER REGIONAL PARK DEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS, the City of National City, the Parking Authority
of the City of National City, and the County of San Diego entered
into an agreement entitled "Cooperation Agreement -Plaza Bonita
Center/Sweetwater Regional Park Development" executed October 24,
1978; and
WHEREAS, paragraph 6 of said Agreement provides for $50,000
worth of park and recreational improvements to be built within certain
designated areas; and
WHEREAS, the parties to the Agreement wish to authorize
other compatible improvements near but not within the area earlier
designated in said paragraph 6 for such improvements;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of National City, California that the Mayor is hereby authorized
to execute an amendment to the "Cooperation Agreement -Plaza Bonita
Regional Shopping Center/Sweetwater Regional Park Development"
executed October 24, 1978, at paragraph 6 thereof, to permit the
County of San Diego to use $50,000 for construction of a public
equestrian center near Equitation Lane and Plaza Bonita Road subject
to completion of said equestrian center by November 30, 1984, and
the City Clerk is authorized to attest thereto.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of November, 1982.

AMENDMENT NO. 1
AMENDMENT TO COOPERATION AGREEMENT -PLAZA BONITA
CENTER/SWEETWATER REGIONAL PARK DEVELOPMENT
The Cooperation Agreement -Plaza Bonita Center/Sweetwater
Regional Park Development between the City of National City, the
Parking Authority of the City of National City and the County of
San Diego executed October 24, 1978 is hereby amended at paragraph 6
thereof by adding to said paragraph 6, after the second sentence
thereof, the following sentence:
"The County may, if it so chooses, use said $50,000 or
any portion of it, toward the construction of an
equestrian center which is proposed to be built by the
County easterly of Bonita Center Road near the street called
Equitation Lane."
This Amendment shall become effective when executed by City,
Authority and County.
