North County Transit District shall issue separate transfer forms. The single -ride tickets issued by San Diego Trolley Autelca 8E-20 vendomats shall be valid transfers for all connecting buses. Transfer Charges For the purpose of calculating transfer charges, there shall be considered three levels of transit service: o Level I : LOCAL Service o Level I (B): URBAN Service o Level I (C): siai-A-Ride Service o Level II: g:41•-a-44e-ae4-4xeress METRO Service Level III: p11pal-Sepv4eel-Ssramxiex-Sefv4ees-aye-6RT-Sepv:ee Commuter Service and Rural Service Transfers between equal levels of service (such as 9}a4.-a-R*de between LOCAL AND EAp ess URBAN) and from higher levels to lower levels of service (such as from Commuter to URBAN) shall be free of charge. Transfers from Level I to Level II services will require an additional charge equai to the difference between San Diego Transit's e*;Tess METRO and ;seal- URBAN fares (20c to 198i FY 82). Transfers from Levels I or.II to Level III service will require an additional charge equal to the difference between the fare charged on the Level III service and the fare already paid on the originating service. Transfers from ail levels to Lever I(C) will require an additional charge of S.00 to $.50. Specific transfer charges are shown in Tabie I. These stipulations will apply to -transfers between the North County Transit District and each other operator, but. will not apply to transfers within the North County Transit District. The Transfer Charges Matrix (see Attachment A) shall guide all Metropolitan operators in the collection of incremental fares for transfers between all levels of service. The Transfer Charges Matrix shall be amended by MTOB to reflect any future fare changes.
