RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF ORDER
TO VACATE AND CLOSE A PORTION OF GILBERT
LANE BETWEEN PALM AVENUE AND FIG COURT
(SC-1-81)
WHEREAS, on June 22, 1982, a hearing was held
pursuant to Resolution No. 13,808 to determine whether the
following portion within the City of National City should
be vacated to wit:
Beginning at a point located at the
intersection of the Westerly right
of way line of Gilbert Lane with
the Southerly right of way line of
Palm Avenue; thence (1) along the
Westerly line of Gilbert Lane, North
000 45' 45" West, 76.068 feet; thence
(2) along a nontangent curve to the
right, having a radius of 20.00 feet,
through an angle of 90°01'00" a
distance of 31.442 feet to a point on
the Northerly line of Fig Court; thence
(3) along a tangent curve to the right
having a radius of 80.00 feet, through
an angle of 90°00'00" a distance of
125.644 feet to the end of curve
tangent to the Easterly line of Gilbert
Lane; thence (4) along the Easterly
line of Gilbert Lane North 00°45'45"
East, 103.615 to the intersection
with the Southerly right of way line
of Palm Avenue on a curve to the right
having a radius of 701.00 feet through
an angle of 7°41'40", a distance of
94.140 feet to the point of beginning
excepting therefrom certain public easements, as more
particularly referred to in Resolution of Intention No.
WHEREAS, the City Council at said hearing, found,
from all evidence submitted, that said portion is unnecessary
for present or prospective public portion purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the Mayor and the City Clerk are respectfully
authorized and directed to execute and attest
an Order of Vacation of the above described•
portion.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to cause a certified copy of subject
order to be recorded in the office of the
County Recorder of San Diego County, pursuant
to Section 8324, California Streets and Highways
Code.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6 th day of July, 1982.

ORDER OF VACATION
The City of National City, by authority of Resolution
No. 13,841 duly adopted on July 6, 1982, by the City Council
of the City of National City, hereby orders the vacation of
the following portion within the City limits of National City:
That portion of Gilbert Lane northerly of Fig Court,
according to State of California Highway drawing, L.O.
45057.1 described as follows:
Beginning at a point located at the intersection of
the Westerly right of way line of Gilbert Lane with the
Southerly right of way line of Palm Avenue; thence (1)
along the Westerly line of Gilbert Lane, North 00°45'45"
West, 76.068 feet; thence (2) along a nontangent curve
to the right, having a radius of 20.00 feet, through
an angle of 90°01'00" a distance of 31.442 feet to a
point on the Northerly line of Fig Court; thence (3)
along a tangent curve to the right, having a radius
of 80.00 feet, through an angle of 90°00'00" a distance
of 125.644 feet to the end of curve tangent to the Easterly
line of Gilbert Lane; thence (4) along the Easterly line
of Gilbert Lane North 00045'45" East, 103.615 feet to
the intersection with the Southerly right of way line of
Palm Avenue on a curve to the right, having a radius of

of 94.140 feet to the point of beginning.
