HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 13,454RESOLUTION NO. 13,454 RESOLUTION ORDERING WORK (Alley No's. 75, 79 and 90. Assessment District No. 209) WHEREAS, on the 19th day of August, 1980 the City Council of the City of National City passed its Resolution of Intention No.13,425 to order certain work to be done and improvements to be made on Alley No.'s 75, 79 and 90, ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 209 pursuant to the provisions of the Improvement Act of 1911. WHEREAS, said Resolution of Intention was duly published and notice of its adoption was duly posted and mailed, all in the time, form and manner as required by law, and, WHEREAS, this City Council had duly received and considered evidence oral and documentary concerning the jurisdictional facts in this proceeding and concerning the necessity for the contemplated work and improvement and the benefits to be derived therefrom, and said City Council has now acquired jurisdiction to order the proposed improvement; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of National City, California, does hereby resolve, determine and order as follows: 1. That the public interest and convenience require the said improvement and the City Council hereby orders that the work and improvement, as set forth and described in said Resolution of Intention No.13,425 adopted on the 19tnay of August, 1980 and in the plans and specifications therein referred to, be done and made, and that all protests against said work or improvement, if any, be and hereby are overruled. 2. That the boundaries of the assessment district, and the grades to which said work and improvements are to be constructed, shall be those set forth and described in said Resolution of Intention No.13,42$and in the plans and specifications therein referred to, reference to which is hereby made for all further particulars. 3. The City Clerk is hereby ordered to give notice inviting such sealed bids in the time, form and manner provided by law.
