RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NATIONAL CITY, CALIFORNIA AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
A QUIT CLAIM DEED, "A" AVENUE BETWEEN 11TH STREET AND
12TH STREET
WHEREAS, the Community Development Commission of the City
of National City is proceeding with the sale of land on the westerly
side of "A" Avenue between llth Street and 12th Street to Harper
Development Company, Inc. for an office building and is proceeding
with a public parking facility along "A" Avenue and easterly
thereof; and
WHEREAS, Land Title Insurance Company, San Diego, requires,
after vacation of subject portion of "A" Avenue by the City, a
quit claim deed from the City to the Community Development Commission
for said street section;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of National City, California that, subsequent to vacation of
"A" Avenue between llth Street and 12th Street, the Mayor and the
City Clerk are authorized to execute, on behalf of the City of
National City, a quitclaim deed in favor of the Community Development
Commission of the City of National City, California for that portion
of "A" Avenue, vacated, located between llth Street and 12th Street
within the City of National City, California.

EXHIBIT A
A strip of land 37.00 feet in width lying 12.00 feet South-
westerly and 25.00 feet Northeasterly of the following des-
cribed line:
Beginning at the most Southwesterly corner of said Block 2;
thence along the Westerly prolongation of the Southerly
line of said Block 2 South 72° 04' 00" West 40 feet to the
True Point of Beginning thence North 17° 46' 58" West in a
straight line to the North line of the above described
property.

All that portion of "A" Avenue lying Southerly of llth Street and
Northerly of 12th Street as shown on the Map of F.A. Kimball's
Subdivision of the Westerly half of 10 acre Lot 4 of Quarter
Section 154•of Rancho de la Nacion, in the City of National City,
County of San Diego, State of California, according to Map thereof
No. 585, filed in the Office of the County Recorder of San Diego
County, February 20, 1889.
Together with that portion of the Southerly 10.00 feet of llth Street
lying adjacent to the above described land.
Reserving therefrom an easement for sewer, water and drainage purposes
over, under and across that portion of the above described land lying
within the land described in Exhibit A attached hereto
