RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
A QUITCLAIM DEED FOR THE
TRANSFER OF REAL PROPERTY OWNED BY THE CITY
TO VERNIE MARGRETT BROWN
(A.P.N. 554-012-01)
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 91-9 the City Council
declared that the real property located on the southeast corner of Division Street
and Laurel Avenue as surplus no longer necessary for City use and directed the
Engineering Department to convey it to the adjacent interested property owner;
and
WHEREAS, Vernie Margrett Brown has expressed an interest in the
real property, has completed all of the conditions to the transfer, and has agreed
to merge the parcel with her adjacent parcel as shown on Exhibit A.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of National City, California, that the Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute a quitclaim deed transferring real property owned by the City (A.P.N.
554-012-01) to Vernie Margrett Brown.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 2nd day of June, 1992.
