HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 92-149RESOLUTION NO. 92-149 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NATIONALS CITY APPROVING THTY OF NATIONAL ONAL CITY RANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING AND NATIONAL CITY MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES' ASSOCIATION WHEREAS, the City has met and conferred with representatives of the National City Municipal Employees' Association; and WHEREAS, said meet and confer was conducted pursuant to California Government Code Section 3500, et seq. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows: SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into of National City and the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Association tween fore 'ty the period July 7, 1992 National City Municipal Employees' through July 5, 1993. SECTION 2. City to provide an Employee Assistance Program for psychological counseling services, i.e. marriage, drugs and alcohol. COST: $3,600/Year B. City to pay costs to maintain City required licenses, i.e. pesticide spraying, class B driver's licenses, etc. COST: Estimated $2,000/Year C. Increase tool allowance to mechanics. COST: $800/Year D. Adjust the salary ranges of two (2) positions considered as working out -of - class. COST: $4,600/Year E. Re -open "Salary" Article in January 1993, only if the City's financial condition improves substantially. (Not expected to re -open) F. Allocate specific funds with a cap to MEA for education and training purposes COST: $5,000/Year (Not expected to be completely used and reverts to City.) G. Reduce vacation accrual cap from 3 years to 2.5 years H. Allow departments to modify work schedules to minimize overtime.
