RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY
DECLARING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTIES
TO BE SURPLUS AND DIRECTING THE
DISPOSAL THEREOF
(Remnant Parcels Adjacent to Euclid Avenue
from 18th to 20th Street)
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the City -owned
remnant parcels adjacent to Euclid Avenue from 18th to 20th Street, shown on
Exhibit A, are no longer necessary for City use; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that said remnant
parcels should be disposed of as surplus; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the majority of the
parcels are small and that certain procedures for the disposition of some of the
surplus properties, including title reports, appraisal reports, and the opening of an
escrow account, should be waived.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of National City that the following remnant parcels are determined to be
no longer necessary for City use, that said remnant parcels are declared to be
surplus, and that the City Engineer is directed to dispose of said remnant parcels
in accordance with City Council policy, with the exception that title reports,
appraisal reports and the opening of escrow accounts will not be required:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the following remnant parcel is
determined to be no longer necessary for City use, that said remnant parcel is
declared to be surplus, and that the City Engineer is directed to dispose of said
remnant parcel in accordance with City Council policy, with the exception that the
sale will be to the adjacent property owner rather than through an advertising and
bidding process.
