RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NATIONAL CITY DEDICATING AND NAMING
AN ACQUIRED PARCEL OF LAND ON THE EAST SIDE
OF "D" AVENUE BETWEEN 16TH STREET AND 18TH STREET
FOR STREET PURPOSES AS "D" AVENUE
(A.P.N. 560-191-30)
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of National City
as follows:
1. That SWEETWATER UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT
has conveyed the real property described in the attached
Exhibit "A" to the CITY OF NATIONAL CITY for street
purposes.
2. That the CITY OF NATIONAL CITY desires that said
property be dedicated for public street purposes.
3. That the described parcel of land in Exhibit "A" shall
henceforth be known as a portion of "D" Avenue.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 28th day of January, 1992.

Parcel B
Those portions of Block 1 of Gilmore and Josselyn's Subdivision according to Map thereof No.
216, filed in the Office of the County Recorder of San Diego County on September 30, 1886 and
Block 1 of A. Morgan's Subdivision, according to Map thereof No. 124, filed in the Office of the
County Recorder of San Diego County on August 20, 1887 and portions of 17th Street and the
unnamed alley shown on said Map 216, as closed and vacated by the City Council of National City
by Resolution No. 5774, recorded October 16, 1952 in Book 4626, Page 293 of Official Records,
all in the City of National City, County of San Diego, State of California, more particularly
described as follows:
BEGINNING at the most northwesterly comer of Block 1 of said Map 216; thence along the
easterly right-of-way of "D" Avenue, South 17° 46' 46" East 580.70 feet, more or less, to the
southwesterly corner of Block 1 of said Map 124, said point also being on the northerly right-of-
way line of 18th Street; thence along said northerly right-of-way line North 72° 16' 20" East 14.99
feet to a point on a 13.00 foot radius curve, concave northeasterly, a radial line from said point
bears North 17° 43' 40" West; thence northwesterly along said 13.00 foot radius curve through a
central angle of 89° 56' 54" an arc distance of 20.41 feet to the point of tangency with a line parallel
with and distant 2.00 feet easterly of the easterly right-of-way of "D" Avenue; thence, along said
parallel line North 17° 46' 46" West 129.50 feet; thence, leaving said parallel line, North 1° 37 20"
West 21.56 feet to a point on a line parallel with and distant 8.00 feet easterly of the easterly line of
"D" Avenue; thence, along said parallel line, North 17° 46' 46" West 409.51 feet to the point of
tangency with an 8.00 foot radius curve, concave southeasterly, a radial line from said point bears
North 72° 13' 14" East; thence, along said 8.00 foot radius curve through a central angle of 89° 58'
45" an arc distance of 12.56 feet to the point of tangency with the northerly line of Map 216, said
line also being the southerly line of 16th Street; thence, along said southerly line South 72° 11' 59"
West 16.00 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
