RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
BASE MAP SUBLICENSING AGREEMENT
WITH SAN DIEGO DATA PROCESSING CORPORATION
WHEREAS, San Diego Data Processing Corporation ("SDDPC")
is the designated entity to accomplish the purposes of the Regional
Urban Information System ("RUIS"), a project undertaken by the City
and County of San Diego to provide information and data base
services to the City and County, and to other municipal
corporations or organizations and political subdivisions within San
Diego County; and
WHEREAS, SDDPC, on behalf of RUIS, has acquired a license
in perpetuity to use, enhance, extend, revise, sublicense, and
update a data base of certain digital representations of regional
and municipal features of San Diego County ("Land Base"); and
WHEREAS, City desires to sublicense from SDDPC a portion
of the Land Base reflecting the municipal features of City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of National City that the Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute a Base Map Sublicensing Agreement with San Diego Data
Processing Corporation. Said Agreement is on file in the Office of
the City Clerk.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 4th day of May, 1993.
