HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 93-68RESOLUTION NO. 93-68 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY ESTABLISHING A CIP PROJECT FOR EMERGENCY REPLACEMENT OF EL TOYON PARK TRANSFORMER, AND THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS WHEREAS, the electrical transformer supporting the eastern portion of El Toyon Park was destroyed by vandals the week of May 31, 1993; and WHEREAS, this occurrence has resulted in a loss of power for park utilities, including park area lighting and court lighting; and WHEREAS, sufficient funds are available in completed or deferred CIP projects to establish a project and fund for replacement of the damaged transformer. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of National City that the City Council hereby establishes a Capital Improvement Project to be known as the Emergency Replacement, El Toyon Park Transformer. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council approves the following transfer of funds: FROM: CIP Project No. 001-409-500-598-1215 (Furniture and Furnishings) $4,500.00 CIP Project No. 001-409-500-598-1247 (Fire Department LAN Update) $5,100.00 TO: CIP Project No. 001-409-500-598-1385 (Emergency Replacement, El Toyon Park Transformer) $9,600.00 Continued on Page Two Resolution No. 93-68 Page 2 of 2 PASSED and ADOPTED this 8th day of June, 1993.
