Pay of Executives, including the City Manager, the City Attorney, City Treasurer and the
City Clerk, and the full-time Mid -Managers will be reduced by five (5) percent at the
beginning of Fiscal Year 1993-94, specifically beginning July 6, 1993, and each
employee in these classifications will be credited with 26 hours of discretionary leave at
the end of each quarter of fiscal year 1993-94. This discretionary leave may be used
during Fiscal Year 1993-94 upon the approval of the City Manager or appropriate
approving authority. If an employee in these classes separates from City service during
Fiscal Year 1993-94, the employee will be paid for the balance in this leave account
based on the employee's salary then in effect. Unused discretionary leave shall be
carried over from year to year until the balance is completely used or paid.
Consistent the agreement with the Municipal Employees' Association, which provides for
occasional closing of City facilities, employees in the unrepresented groups will not
normally be expected to work on days the facilities are closed.
All other benefits in effect in Fiscal Year 1992-93 will remain in effect for Fiscal Year 1993-
94. If adjustments are made to reduction agreed to by represented units during Fiscal
Year 1993-94, comparable adjustments will be made for unrepresented employees.
