RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY
GRANTING A PERMIT TO MOVE A SINGLE FAMILY
DWELLING WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS
WHEREAS, Mike and Marge Samdio have requested a permit to move a
single-family dwelling from 426 East 7th Street to 2329 Ridgeway Drive, within the City
of National City; and
WHEREAS, Section 15.12.040 authorizes the City Council to grant a permit
to move a structure within the city limits upon the making of certain findings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of National City that the City Council hereby makes the following findings regarding the
moving of a single-family residence from 426 East 7th Street to 2329 Ridgeway Drive:
1. The structure to be relocated is structurally sound and
well -maintained.
2. Relocation of the structure will not have an adverse
effect upon property values in the district to which the structure will be
relocated.
3. Relocation of the structure will not have an adverse
effect on the health, safety, welfare or morals of the community and
neighborhood in which the structure will be relocated.
4. Relocation of the structure will not have an adverse
effect on the zoning regulations and plans of the City.
5. Relocation of the structure will comply with applicable
zoning laws, and with all building codes, laws and regulations in force.
6. Relocation of the structure will not contribute to blight
or deterioration in the neighborhood to which the structure will be
relocated.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the permit to move a single-family
residence from 426 East 7th Street to 2329 Ridgeway Drive is hereby granted, subject
to the plans, including landscaping plans, approved by the Director of Building and
Safety, and further subject to such terms and conditions as may be imposed by the
Director of Building and Safety.
