HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 95-169RESOLUTION NO. 95-169 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY GRANTING A PERMIT TO MOVE A COMMERCIAL BUILDING WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS WHEREAS, Hampton Lumber Sales Co. has requested a permit to move a 646 square foot commercial building from 1902 Tidelands Avenue to 1640 Tidelands Avenue, within the City of National City; and WHEREAS, Section 15.12.040 authorizes the City Council to grant a permit to move a structure within the city limits upon the making of certain findings. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of National City that the City Council hereby makes the following findings regarding the moving of a 646 square foot commercial building from 1902 Tidelands Avenue to 1640 Tidelands Avenue: 1. The structure to be relocated is structurally sound and well -maintained. 2. Relocation of the structure will not have an adverse effect upon property values in the district to which the structure will be relocated. 3. Relocation of the structure will not have an adverse effect on the health, safety, welfare or morals of the community and neighborhood in which the structure will be relocated. 4. Relocation of the structure will not have an adverse effect on the zoning regulations and plans of the City. 5. Relocation of the structure will comply with applicable zoning laws, and with all building codes, laws and regulations in force. 6. Relocation of the structure will not contribute to blight or deterioration in the neighborhood to which the structure will be relocated. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the permit to move a 646 square foot commercial building from 1902 Tidelands Avenue to 1640 Tidelands Avenue is hereby granted, subject to the plans, including landscaping plans, approved by the Director of Building and Safety, and subject to such terms and conditions as may be imposed by the Director of Building and Safety.
