HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 96-57RESOLUTION NO. 96-57 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY APPROVING THE DRAFT 1996-97 CONSOLIDATED PLAN ANNUAL PLAN INCLUDING THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) AND HOME INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIP ACT (HOME) PROGRAM BUDGETS WHEREAS, the City of National City administers the allocation of CDBG and HOME funding for the Federal Government under the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD); and, WHEREAS, the City wishes to allocate program funds for the 1996-97 program year; and, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of National City held a public hearing on the allocation of said funds on April 9, and April 23, 1996; and, WHEREAS, the City has agreed to allocate these funds as shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of National City that the CDBG and HOME funds as shown on the attached Exhibit "A" are approved; and, the Mayor is hereby authorized, on behalf of the City Council, to submit the 1996-97 Consolidated Plan Annual Plan for the expenditure of said funds to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
