HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 96-173RESOLUTION NO. 9 6 -17 3 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY CONFIRMING THE ASSESSMENT OF CLEAN UP OF PROPERTY AT 2917 "L" AVENUE, NATIONAL CITY A.P.N. 563-141-05 WHEREAS, an inspection and clean up work at the aforementioned location in the City was done under and pursuant to National City Municipal Code Section 9.12. An assessment thereof is attached as Exhibit "A" ; and WHEREAS, the City Clerk has, as required by said ordinance, given notice of the time fixed in said notice for hearing by City Council and affidavit of posting of such notice has been made and is on file in the Office of the City Clerk; and WHEREAS, on December 10, 1996 a hearing was fully held by this City Council at which all written appeals, protests or objections, if any, were duly presented and read, and all persons desiring to be heard thereon were heard, and this City Council gave all persons present an opportunity to be heard in respect to any matter relating to said work, or to any matter relating to said work, the assessment or the proceedings, therefore; and WHEREAS, all such persons desiring to be heard have been heard by this City Council and the City Council is fully informed in the premises; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of National City, does hereby find, resolve, determine and order, as follows: That said hearing has been duly held; that each and every step of the proceeding prior to and including the hearing has been duly and regularly taken; that this City Council is satisfied with the correctness of the assessment, the proceedings and all matters relating thereto, and all protests, objections or appeals be and the same are hereby overruled and denied and this City Council does hereby confirm said proceedings and said assessment attached hereto as Exhibit A as a lien upon the parcel of $7,666.00 and that the City Clerk is directed to file with the County Auditor of the County of San Diego, a certified copy of this resolution. Inspection Warrant 3110 issued by the Municipal Court of the State of Califomia, San Diego County South Bay Judicial District directed inspection, board -up, and removal of debris and vegetation creating a nuisance at: 2917 "L" Avenue National City, Califomia 91950 Parcel No. 563-141-05 2. Such inspection and removal was scheduled to be accomplished between September 18, 1996 and October 2, 1996, and was completed September 25, 1996. B. Accounting: Clean up was performed by Contract with GAL Construction. Total cost is $7,666.00 EXHIBIT "A"
