RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY
APPROVING THE FINAL PARCEL MAP FOR THE
PROPERTY AT 2132-2136 RACHEL AVENUE,
ACCEPTING A DEDICATION OF A DRAINAGE EASEMENT, AND
AUTHORIZING RECORDATION OF A COVENANT RUNNING WITH
THE LAND FOR DEFERRED IMPROVEMENTS ON HARBISON AVENUE
WHEREAS, at a regular meeting of the Planning Commission held on
December 18, 1995, said Commission adopted Resolution No. 29-95, approving the
tentative parcel map for the property at 2132-2136 Rachel Avenue; and
WHEREAS, all requirements of the tentative parcel map, the State
Subdivision Map Act and Title 17 of the City of National City Municipal Code have been
complied with; and
WHEREAS, the final map contains an offer of dedication, for drainage
easement purposes, a portion of the property located at 2132-2136 Rachel Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the owner has requested a deferral of the installation of
improvements along unimproved Harbison Avenue on the west side of the property, has
executed a covenant running with the land promising to install said improvements when
so requested by the City, and has made a cash deposit with the City to secure said
installation of improvements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of National City, that the final parcel map for the property at 2132-2136 Rachel Avenue
is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor, City Clerk and City
Engineer are hereby authorized and directed to file said final parcel map with the County
Recorder.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the portion of the property offered for
dedication, an easement located on Parcel No. 2 of the property at 2132-2136 Rachel
Avenue, is hereby accepted for drainage purposes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Engineer is hereby directed
to record a covenant running with the land for the deferred installation of improvements
along unimproved Harbison Avenue on the west side of the property.
