RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY
DIRECTING THE INSTALLATION OF SIGNS
AND/OR TRAFFIC DEVICES FOR THE PURPOSE
OF PROHIBITING LEFT TURNS FROM
22ND STREET TO EUCLID AVENUE
WHEREAS, the Traffic Safety Committee received a citizen complaint concerning
a sight distance problem at the intersection of 22nd Street and Euclid Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the Traffic Safety Committee voted at its July 9, 1997 meeting to
recommend that left -turns be prohibited from 22nd Street to Euclid Avenue.
NOW, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of National City that the City Engineer is hereby directed to install signs and/or traffic control
devices for the purpose of prohibiting left turns from 22nd Street to Euclid Avenue.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 5th day of August, 1997.
