HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 97-141RESOLUTION NO. 9 7 -141 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF SAN DIEGO FOR FUNDING OF THE FEDERALLY MANDATED STORM WATER MONITORING PROGRAM (1997-9S) WHEREAS, in compliance with the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Program, the City of National City is required to monitor wet weather storm water run off as required by the Federal Environmental Protection Agency; and WHEREAS, the San Diego County co-permittees have been using a jointly developed monitoring program that is in compliance with the EPA regulations and is acceptable to the California Regional Water Quality Board. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of National City that the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with the City of San Diego for funding of the federally mandated Storm Water Monitoring Program (1997-98). Said agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk. PASSED and ADOPTED this 28th day of October, 1997. ATTEST: Mich el R.
