HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 97-143RESOLUTION NO. 9 7 -14 3 RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION OF TWO-HOUR PARKING SIGNS ON HOOVER AVENUE SOUTH OF 18TH STREET AND 20 FEET OF RED CURB AT 108 18TH STREET WHEREAS, the two-hour parking restriction on Hoover Avenue is intended to assure that parking spaces are available in proximity to the new Paradise Creek Educational Park improvements located at the end of Hoover Avenue, south of 18th Street; and WHEREAS, the Traffic Safety Committee recommended approval of the two-hour parking signs and the red curb at its October 8, 1997 meeting. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of National City that the City Engineer is hereby directed to install two-hour parking signs on Hoover Avenue south of 18th Street and 20 feet of red curb at 108 18th Street, as indicated on the attached Exhibit "A".
