RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NATIONAL CITY AWARDING A CONTRACT
TO MJC CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR THE WILSON
AVENUE AND MISCELLANEOUS STORM DRAIN
IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS
ENGINEERING SPECS. NO. 98-2
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department of the City of National City did, in
open session on July 14, 1998, publicly open, examine and declare all sealed bids for the
Wilson Avenue and miscellaneous storm drain improvements project at various locations; and
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of National City hereby awards the contract for the Wilson Avenue and miscellaneous
storm drain improvements project to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, to wit:
MJC CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of National
City, California that the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute on behalf of the City, a
contract between MJC Construction Company and the City of National City to provide for the
Wilson Avenue and miscellaneous storm drain improvements project. Said agreement is on file
in the office of the City Clerk.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 28th day of July, 1998.
