HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 98-162RESOLUTION NO. 98 -162 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A TIDELAND USE AND OCCUPANCY PERMIT BETWEEN THE CITY AND THE SAN DIEGO UNIFIED PORT DISTRICT FOR A THREE-YEAR TERM TO ALLOW CALTRANS TO CONSTRUCT A PORTION OF THE BAY SHORE BIKEWAY THROUGH PORT DISTRICT PROPERTY WHEREAS, on July 22, 1997 the City Council entered into a one-year term use and occupancy permit with the Port District to allow Caltrans to construct a portion of the Bay Shore Bikeway through the Port District property from the easterly end of the 32"a Street cul-de-sac, easterly approximately 615 feet to the Port District property line; and WHEREAS, in order to allow for construction of the bikeway, it has been proposed that the use and occupancy permit be extended for an additional three years, from November 1, 1998 to October 31, 2001. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of National City that the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a three-year Tideland Use and Occupancy Permit between the City and the San Diego Unified Port District to allow Caltrans to construct a portion of the Bay Shore Bikeway through Port District property. Said Permit is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
