RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY APPROVING THE
TRANSFER OF $9,000 FROM '1'11E UNDESIGNATED
FUND BALANCE ACCOUNT NO. 001-2501 TO THE
FACILITIES MAINTENANCE CONTRACTS ACCOUNT
NO. 626-422-223-288-0000 FOR THE CARPETING OF
THE NATIONAL CITY COMMUNITY BUILDING
WHEREAS, the carpeting throughout the Community Building has deteriorated
and become a safety hazard; and
WHEREAS, the CDC has allocated $20,000 in their current year budget (FY 99)
to fund their portion of the project; and
WHEREAS, the estimated cost to carpet the Parks and Recreation portion of the
Community Building is $9,000, which is not funded as part of the FY 99 budget.
WHEREAS, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of National City approves the transfer of $9,000 from the Undesignated Fund
Balance Account No. 001-2501 to the Facilities Maintenance Contracts Account No. 626-422-
223-288-0000 for the carpeting of the National City Community Building.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 18t day of May, 1999.
