RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY
AWARDING A CONTRACT TO MENTONE TURF SUPPLY
FOR THE EL TOYON BALLFIELD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
(Engineering Spec. 99-7)
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department of the City of National City did, in
open session on December 16, 1999, publicly open, examine and declare all sealed bids for the
El Toyon Ballfield Improvement Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of National City hereby awards the contract for the El Toyon Ballfield Improvement
Project to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, to wit:
MENTONE TURF SUPPLY
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of National
City, California, that the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute on behalf of the City, a
contract between Mentone Turf Supply and the City of National City for the El Toyon Ballfield
Improvement Project. Said contract is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 11th day of January, 2000.
