HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 2001 - 109RESOLUTION NO. 2001 - 109 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMANT BETWEEN THE CITY AND DMG-MAXIMUS FOR NDATED COST CLAIM SERVICES FOR FY 2 STATE MANDATED 2002 WHEREAS, Article XIIIB of the California StateamConstitutionmandated bypro ides that cities may recover costs associated with carrying programs of California; and WHEREAS, the City desires to obtain maximum reimbursement for costs incurred in carrying out state mandated programs, and has determined that engaging DMG- Maximus to assist in the preparation process is the most economical and cost effective means for preparing the City's state mandated costs claims; and WHEREAS, DMG-Maximus is staffed with personnel knowledgeable and experienced in determining the costs of governmental programs and in the submission of cost claims to the State of California; and WHEREAS, the City desires to engage DMG-Maximus to assist in developing, submitting, and negotiating cost claims pertaining to state mandated programs. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of National City hereby authorizes the Mayor to execute an agreement between the City and DMG-Maximus for state mandated cost claim services for FY 2001-2002.
