RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY AWARDING A
CONTRACT TO AMERICAN ASPHALT SOUTH, INC.
FOR THE NATIONAL CITY SLURRY SEAL PROJECT
(Engineering Spec. No. 01-03)
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department of the City of National City did, in
open session on March 21, 2002, publicly open, examine and declare all sealed bids for the
National City Slurry Seal Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of National City hereby awards the contract for the National City Slurry Seal Project
to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, to wit:
AMERICAN ASPHALT SOUTH, INC.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of National City that the
Mayor is hereby authorized to execute on behalf of the City a contract between American
Asphalt South, Inc. and the City of National City for the National City Slurry Seal Project.
Said contract is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 2nd day of April, 2002.
