RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY
ACCEPTING THE LOWEST RESPONSIVE,
RESPONSIBLE BID FROM VILLA FORD, AND
AUTHORIZING AWARD OF BID #GS0102-5 FOR FIVE
MODEL 2003 BLACK AND WHITE POLICE PATROL VEHICLES
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Department of the City of National City did, in
open session on March 19, 2002, publicly open, examine and declare all sealed bids for five
(5) model 2003 black and white Police patrol vehicles.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of National City hereby awards the contract for five (5) model 2003 black and white
Police patrol vehicles to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, to wit:
VILLA FORD
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of National City
does hereby authorize the Purchasing Agent to execute on behalf of the City a purchase order
between Villa Ford and the City of National City for five (5) model 2003 black and white Police
patrol vehicles.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 2"d day of April, 2002.
