RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY
AWARDING A CONTRACT TO PORTILLO CONCRETE, INC.
IN THE AMOUNT OF $78,400 FOR MISCELLANEOUS
CONCRETE IMPROVEMENTS INCLUDING CURBS, GUTTERS,
SIDEWALKS, AND PEDESTRIAN RAMPS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department of the City of National City did, in
open session on October 26, 2004, publicly open, examine and declare two sealed bids
for miscellaneous concrete improvements including curbs, gutters, sidewalks, and
pedestrian ramps at various locations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
National City hereby awards the contract for miscellaneous concrete improvements
including curbs, gutters, sidewalks, and pedestrian ramps at various locations to the
lowest responsive, responsible bidder, to wit:
PORTILLO CONCRETE, INC.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council that the Mayor is hereby
authorized to execute on behalf of the City a contract between Portillo Concrete, Inc.
and the City of National City for miscellaneous concrete improvements including curbs,
gutters, sidewalks, and pedestrian ramps at various locations. Said contract is on file in
the office of the City Clerk.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 16th day of November, 2004.
