RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY
APPROVING THE FINAL CONTRACT BALANCE CHANGE ORDER
WITH THE FINAL AMOUNT OF $72, 540, ACCEPTING THE
WORK FROM PORTILLO CONCRETE, INC., AND
AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF A NOTICE OF COMPLETION
FOR THE MISCELLANEOUS CONCRETE IMPROVEMENTS
INCLUDING CURBS, GUTTERS, SIDEWALKS, AND
PEDESTRIAN RAMPS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS
(Engineering Specification No. 04-7)
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of National City,
California, as follows:
It appearing to the satisfaction of the Engineering Department that all work
required to be done by PORTILLO CONCRETE, INC., Engineering Department
Specification No. 04-7, for miscellaneous concrete improvements, including curbs,
gutters, sidewalks, and pedestrian ramps at various locations has been completed, the
City Council of National City hereby accepts said work and authorizes the filing of a
Notice of Completion and orders that payment for said work be made in accordance
with said contract.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Final Contract Balance Change
Order, which reduces the cost of the contract from $78,400 to $72,540, is hereby
approved.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 19th day of April, 2005.
