HomeMy WebLinkAbout2009 CC RESO 2009-18 CDCRESOLUTION NO. 2009 — 18 RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRMAN TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH ECONOMIC & PLANNING SYSTEMS, INC., IN THE NOT -TO -EXCEED AMOUNT OF $50,000 TO PROVIDE AS -NEEDED ECONOMIC AND REDEVELOPMENT LAW CONSULTING SERVICES FOR A ONE YEAR PERIOD WHEREAS, the Community Development Commission of the City of National City (CDC) is responsible for implementing the National City Redevelopment Plan; and WHEREAS, the Community Development Commission desires to employ a contractor to provide as -needed economic and redevelopment law consulting services related to various projects within the National City Redevelopment Project; and WHEREAS, the CDC has determined that Economic & Planning Systems, Inc., is qualified by experience and ability to perform as -needed economic and redevelopment law consulting services. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Community Development Commission of the City of National City hereby authorizes the Chairman to execute an Agreement with Economic & Planning Systems, Inc., in the not -to -exceed amount of $50,000 to provide as -needed economic and redevelopment law consulting services for a one year period.
