RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY
AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRMAN TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT
WITH NOWELL & ASSOCIATES LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE
TO PROVIDE AS -NEEDED LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE
SERVICES IN THE NOT -TO -EXCEED AMOUNT OF $50,000
WHEREAS, the Community Development Commission of the City of National
City (CDC) is implementing the National City Redevelopment Plan; and
WHEREAS, the CDC desires to employ a consultant to provide as -needed
landscape architecture services related to various projects within the National City
Redevelopment Project; and
WHEREAS, the CDC has determined that Nowell & Associates Landscape
Architecture is a registered landscape architecture firm, and is qualified by experience and
ability to perform as -needed landscape architecture services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Community Development
Commission of the City of National City hereby authorizes the Chairman to execute an
Agreement with Nowell & Associates Landscape Architecture in the not -to -exceed
amount of $50,000 to provide as -needed landscape architecture services related to
various projects within the National City Redevelopment Project. Said Agreement is on
file in the office of the City Clerk.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 19th day of March, 2009.
