RESOLUTION ACCEPTING COVENANT RUNNING WITH THE LAND
AND DIRECTING THE RECORDING THEREOF
(3329 Orange Street - Riddle)
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
National City that a Covenant granted to the City of National
City by Owen H. and Margaret N. Riddle affecting property at
3329 Orange Street is hereby accepted and the City Clerk is
directed to record the same.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of May, 1979

COVENANT RUNNING WITH THE LAND
This COVENANT is made by Owen H. & Margaret N. Riddle hereinafter
referred to as "OWNER". WHEREAS OWNER is the owner of the that certain real property located
-in the City of National City, County of San Diego, State of California, described as follows:
See Exhibit "A" Attached.
WHEREAS, said owner desires to be excused from the legal requirements to install the
following improvements:
At 3329 Orange St.:
1. 50 Lin. Ft. of 6" Type G Curb & Gutter
2. 34 Lin. Ft. of P.C.C. Sidewalk
3. 16 Lin. Ft. of P.C.C. Driveway
4. 925 Sq. Ft. of 2" A.C. on 6" C.R.H. Street paving, Seal $ Sand.
5. Grading Associated with the above.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration for the granting of a deferral to install said improve-
ments by the City Council of the City of National City, said owner covenants for
themselves and their heirs, successors, assigns, executors and
administrators as follows:
1. The owner will not protest the installation of any of the required improvements under
1911 Improvement Act program whether initiated by the property owners or the City.
2. The owner will install said improvements in conjunction with an overall improvement
program of the area whether initiated by the property owners or the City.
3. The owner will install the required improvements within 30 (Thirty) days of a written
demand to do so by the City Engineer.

EXHIBIT "A"
That portion of the Northwest Quarter of Quarter Section 109,
Rancho de la Nacion, in the County of San Diego, State of California,
according to Map thereof No. 166, filed in the office of the County
Recorder of San Diego County, May 11, 1869, described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of said Quarter Section 109;
thence South 18 26' 30" East along the West line of said Quarter
Section 515 feet to the Southwesterly corner of a tract of land conveyed
to Edward Renick by deed dated December 22, 1943 in Book 1608, page 255
of Official Re&ords, which is the true point of beginning; thence conti-
nuing South 18 26' 30" Fast along said Westerly line 50 feet; thence
North 71 21' 30" East parallel with the North line of said Quarter
Section, a distance of 188 feet to the Northwesterly corner of a tract
of land conveyed to P. B. Smith and wife, b-6 deed dated July 5, 1946
and recorded July 15, 1946; thence North 18 26' 30" West parallel with
the Westerly line of said Quarter Section, a distance of 50 feet to the
Southeasterly corner of said land conveyed to Renick; thence South 71°
21' 30" West along the Southerly line of said land, 188 feet to the true
point of beginning.
