RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT
("N" Avenue and 9th Street, Assessment District
No. 188)
WHEREAS, the City Clerk of the City of National
City did in open session on the 6th day of June, 1979
publicly open, examine and declare all sealed proposals or
bids for doing the work and improvement described in Resolution
of Intention No. 12,742 for the construction of improvements
on "N" Avenue and 9th Street
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 188 which said Resolution of Intention
was adopted on the 16th day of
May, 1978
, and which Resolu-
tion of Intention is hereby expressly referred to for a
description of said work and improvement and for all particulars
relative to the proceedings under said Resolution of Intention;
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved that the City
Council of the City of National City hereby rejects all of
said proposals or bids except that herein mentioned, and here-
by awards the contract for doing said work and making said im-
provements to the lowest responsible bidder, to wit:
T.B. PENICK & SONS
at the prices named in the bid of such bidder on file in the
office of the City Clerk of the City of National City.
The Clerk of the City of National City is hereby
directed to publish notice of said award in the National City
Star News, a newspaper heretofore designated for that purpose
by said City Council of the City of National City, and also to
post notice of said award conspicuously in the Civic Center,
National City, California, and to record the same in the office
of the San Diego County Recorder.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of June,

NOTICE OF AWARD OF CONTRACT

No. 188)
Pursuant to statute and to the Resolution of. the
City Council of the City of National City, directing this
notice,
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the City Clerk of the
City of National City in open session, on the 6th day of
June, 1979 , publicly opened, examined and declared
all sealed proposals or bids for performing the work and
improvement described in Resolution of Intention No. 12,742
of the City Council of the City of National City, adopted
on the 16th day of May, 1978 , which Resolution
of Intention No. 12,742 is on file in the office of the City
Clerk of the City of National City and is hereby referred to
for a description of said work and improvement and for all
particulars relative to the proceedings under said Resolution
of Intention and notice is also hereby given that the City
Council of the City of National City, thereafter, on the
12th day of June, 1979
awarded the contract for said
work and improvement to the lowest regular responsible bidder,
to wit:
T.B. PENICK & SONS
at the price named in the bid for said work and improvement
of said bidder, which said bid is on file in the office of
the City Clerk of the City of National City, and to which
reference is hereby made, and the attention of all persons
interested is hereby directed.
